9 Strategies To Lower Anxiety

According to a recent survey from the American Psychological Association 49% of adults reported feeling uncomfortable about returning to in-person interactions when the pandemic ends. Even 48% of who have received the Covid vaccine report feeling the same way.

Why? What's happening? Isn't this what folks wanted to get back to pre-pandemic normalcy?

Here's why anxiety and stress are on the rise because these lockdowns caused an increase in depression and social anxiety. This wave of mental health issues is being described as a potential "mental health crisis:, and it's definitely a concern with how people will readjust once restrictions are fully lifted.

Listen to more on this subject here (Topic: Anxiety is on the rise) as I dive deeper into why this is a problem, and more importantly how you can support yourself through the process.

Every Monday morning at 6 a.m. PST/9 a.m. EST I do a live radio broadcast called "Getting Through the Week" on the Donny Walker Morning show, and each week I talk and teach on a specific subject matter and provide real tangible tools and insights on how to help you get through the week.

Here are the 9 Strategies discussed during the radio broadcast on 4/5/2021:

  1. Restful Sleep

  2. Routine

  3. Gratitude

  4. Laughter

  5. Exercise

  6. Mindfulness

  7. Animals

  8. Groundness

  9. Seek Support

Some of the bravest people I know are those who take uncomfortable action. They are those who have tried things before that didn't work out, but had a willingness to keep trying.

I have no doubt that is you because after all you're here reading this. Perhaps it's a desire to learn more. A desire to help yourself. A desire to support a family or friend. Or even a desire to enrich your own personal growth journey. Whatever it may be, I salute your braveness and your tenancity.

If there's anything that resonates with you as you listen to this broadcast or any of the other broadcast I have on my website, then I encourage you to get in touch with me at drkellyrae@gmail.com.

Be Brave......Be Bold.....Be Blessed.....and most of all be undeniably YOU!
