Hogwash? Is it?

Let's talk about Law of Attraction for a minute, and the hoopla of manifesting everything your heart desires.  You may be surprised to discover you're manifesting skills are actually working properly, even if you're not seeing the results you'd hoped for.

 

Many of you may recall the movie The Secret, which came out in 2006, became a big hit in the mainstream.

 

This was an exciting advancement for many in the New Age realm, the Woo Woo realm, the Positive Psychology realm, and many other realms considered "different" because it was bringing an alternative thought movement to the masses.

 

It was providing an opportunity for everyone to experience and learn something new.

 

The premise of this film was/is based on the belief of the Law of Attraction, which claims that thoughts can change a person's life directly.

 

You could have what you wanted through the power of your thoughts.

 

For many this was a new concept or a new way of thinking, and you saw people focusing on "manifesting" their dreams.

 

This Law of Attraction concept had become the talk of the town.....the cat's meow.......the "in" thing, and you certainly didn't want to miss out on what was being manifested.

 

Many of us did our best to “think positive and manifest.” Yet, we still came up short.

 

Why?

 

Because the Law of Attraction is influenced by your deep seeded identity belief .

 

If you hold a toxic belief like “I’m not good enough” or “I’m unlovable,” it will eat away at your confidence, and cause old patterns to keep repeating in your career, health and fitness, or relationships.

 

The Law of Attraction just keeps bringing you more of the same, and it becomes a vicious cycle.

 

There's just not enough "positive thinking" that can run a toxic belief out of town or out of your unconscious mind.

 

Here's the interesting part of the Law of Attraction and our Beliefs. Manifesting through the Law of Attracting which has worked in some areas of our lives and not in others, triggers our limiting beliefs (E.g."I'm not worthy" or "I'm undeserving") and we therefore conclude we're not doing it right.

 

We berate or attempt to convince ourselves, "if I just try harder it would work".

 

Just like having an infected tooth, our "infected" aka toxic beliefs don't heal themselves merely by filling them with positive words.

 

Here’s the good news: you CAN uncover your most Toxic (infected aka limiting) Beliefs and break this cycle. And with certainty, once the infection is cleared, your positive words/thoughts can greatly impact the present and future state of your Beliefs, and what you attract.

 

Is manifesting through the Law of Attraction possible?

 

Absolutely!  You are manifesting or attracting things, situations, and people to you everyday.

 

So the question isn't whether or not the Law of Attraction works because you have evidence of it working in your life.

 

Perhaps the questions should be "What toxic or limiting beliefs am I holding onto that are infecting my life?"
