You Are The Change

Our brains are so magnificently powerful; more powerful than we can even imagine.

As we walk this journey called life we experience quite a number of things, which requires our mind, body and spirit to participate.

Not necessarily simultaneously, yet the three work together like a well-oiled machine.

When our mind gets off kilter it can affect the way we emotionally process information, and it can have a significant impact on our physical body as well.

When our body gets off kilter, depending on the severity, it can create physical limitations for us, and it can have a significant impact on your mental state as well.

Our soul is eternal, and houses the events we experience. Our soul is our life.

When the emotions of our brain and/or our physical body change in such a way to create dis-ease, from minor to major conditions, we can even question our faith which correlates to our eternal soul.

Our intellectual brain can rationalize, justify, and even advocate our reactions towards why our life is the way it is in order to feel OK.

Being faced with change right now in our lives it can be simple enough for our intellectual brain to understand it, and yet it’s in the doing it, being it, and walking through it that can be the challenge.

You’ve gone through changes before in your life, and some of those changes you walked alone; some you felt betrayed in the process; and some you received help.

Our ego brain screams out when you think of asking for help. It will flood you with all kinds of reasons as to why you shouldn’t do that. You, Beloveds, have power over that screaming ego brain----it’s your right to exercise it.

Our ego brain whimpers and feels insecure, shameful, and riddled with self doubt, and will do it’s best to convince you that you are unworthy of asking for help. You, Beloved, have power over that fearful ego brain----it’s your right to exercise it.

Our ego brain is relentlessly stubborn because after all it sees change as a threat to the status quo. It will trigger feelings of pride, shame, guilt, and weakness, thus convincing you others will think less of you or you will be perceived as weak and not good enough. You, Beloved, have power over that stubborn ego brain---it’s your right to exercise it.

There’s a quote by George Bernard Shaw that says, “We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future”, which speaks volumes.

Our ego would love to cleave to our past, and does so convincingly. For it’s the greatest weapon it has against us and our evolving future.

Change is inevitable; change is constant. Our ego brain can certainly intellectualize these words, and convince us why change is not a good thing. You, Beloveds, have power with your mind, your body, and your soul to get through, walk through, jump through whatever, to BE the change-----it’s your right to exercise it.

You are the change, Beloved, whether you choose to move forward and grow or remain the same---it’s your right to choose it.

If you are facing challenges around change in your life, I extend an invitation for you to schedule some time with me so we can get through it together.

Until next time, so much love.
